MOORESVILLE, NC- Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is currently recognized for undergoing a rigorous peer evaluation in accordance with nationally recognized bariatric surgical standards with The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).

As a result of this reaccreditation, The American College of Surgeons (ACS) has recognized Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for its demonstrated commitment to surgical quality standards. The ACS Surgical Quality Partner Diamond Award is given to hospitals who have met its 12 elements of surgical quality.
